Happy to say that 156 and myself will be reviving the Gamer-Island Tekkit Server I used to run around 4 years ago. I believe a few people who still occasionally check in on this site used to be members, so if you'd like to be kept up to date drop a reply here!

Tekkit is now dead in terms of updates, so we're going to be running a custom mod pack on Minecraft 1.12 featuring IndustrialCraft, BuildCraft, AppliedEnergistics, Ender.IO, ... etc.

There's no stable Bukkit/Spigot + Forge server right now, so the launch is still at least a few months away while we wait for Kettle (or an alternative) to stabilise and iron out bugs, which I'm hoping to contribute to if I can find the time.

To add, we'll be very in need of beta testers! I don't think there are many stable modded servers these days, and mods often aren't made with open multiplayer in mind - even in the golden age a few years ago we had to manually patch over some things, so I'm anticipating a lot of manual effort needed to get it to a state where we're comfortable to release it publicly.

I am sure you are surprised to be hearing from me. Im not sure I have an official contact for you anymore as it has been so long so do forgive me.

I apologise for leaving you in the dark a little a few years ago as I know you had taken me under your wing to help develop Gamer-Island with you further. Unfortunately due to quite a lot of uncertainty at the time, I had to pack up and sell most of my things and move away without much notice. It is only until now I have been able to return to life as normal.

If you are still developing Gamer-Island id love to catch up and perhaps even continue where we left off if that is at all possible?

Hope to hear soon and I will check in regularly.
